“Author” is certainly not my primary identity. I am to most people, Suzanne Montgomery MD, Family Physician for the past 26 years. I am also a wife to Tim, mother to Anna, Rozie and Garrett, and daughter to my 2 aging parents. My family extends to step kids and to several resident cats and a dog. I live in rural Indiana in an old farmhouse surrounded by corn and bean fields. I love the quiet of it all after a busy day in the office. I am a writer now because writing is an old love that I have rekindled with a story that needs to be told about my good friend, Shadrach. You’ll get to know a lot more about me through his story that God chose to intersect with mine.
So glad to see you pursuing this Suzanne. I look forward to following the story!
Mark,
This is something I have felt God calling me to do for a long time. I now have the time and the opportunity to do it since I retired from private practice and work part time for IU Health. Thanks for your support. Please give me your thoughts on anything I write. I would appreciate the feedback. Share the website with anyone you think would enjoy reading it.
Blessings to you and your family,
Suzanne
Suzanne, What a blessing to receive your email and then to read your blog. I agree with you that God is in this. You write with deep insight that inspires. God’s Spirit has been breathed into you in a special way for a special mission. Keep on writing. I pray for you and also Shadrach. What a journey of faith he embodies!
Hey Dr Montgomery I worked for you at the office in 2005 with stephanie. I live in sheridan too. Right by you actually. I was raised at the UMC that you go to so everybody knows you. I can never seem to run into you to see you. Glad you and Tim are well I just found your page and am thrilled to see your writing. What you have written is lovely and so true and straight to the scripture. I’m thrilled to know you and that I have access to your writings. Glad to talk to you. Carrie Sutton
Thanks Carrie. I’m in Sheridan a lot anymore. Love it! I know we will run into each other.
